About The Project

WorkGuide.co is an initiative of ROHEI Learning & Consulting as part of the Emerging Stronger Taskforce (EST) Singapore. It was formed to review how Singapore can stay economically resilient and build new sources of dynamism to emerge stronger from COVID-19.

WorkGuide.co aims to become the go-to local guide for the emerging workforce with the largest resource of questions and insight on work matters.

The Web App


Designed as a progressive web app (PWA), WorkGuide will feel and function like a native app with the added convenience of bypassing an app install. It will also take advantage of a PWA's helpful features like offline usability and push notifications.

Signing up will take the user to a page where they can either learn more (as a job seeker) or become a guide. They will then be required to complete a corresponding form. The forms are thorough, so the questions are grouped into sections for easier completion and to avoid visual exhaustion.
  • Create Profile | Update Profile
Both jobseeker and guide can update their profile anytime. Guides will have a "guide" badge next to their name to distinguish their profiles easily.
  • Post a Question
By default, posting a question is anonymous, with a confirmation modal before switching to an identified profile. Guide and category tags are also available to make questions easier to navigate.
  • Post a Video Reply
Posting a video reply will prompt a choice for a guided video or a video upload.
